Every day apart from the compulsory namaz I offer Suras, du'a and tasbee. My teacher explained to me that in religious practice time, place and circumstances (one's position/state) can make a difference when it comes to directing your praises and requests to God... For the one who is new to this it can be physically difficult. Frankly speaking I have just started learning spiritual practice so offering a prayer in full prostration for more than 5 minutes is a serious test of my patience and endurance. I often realize that I think of pain in recently injured knee, cramps in my hands, numbness in my toes and can't wait to end counting beads. BUT today I clearly felt the difference based on how I begin the prayer, precisely on whom I dedicate the prayer to. Let's be honest we praise God first of all for the benefit of our own souls, then for the people who are close us and then for those who we think need it. But how often do we do it without any selfish intentions? Just like that... For Him?
The moment I touched the prayer mat with my forehead and nose and delivered words that in Islam mark the beginning of everything "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful" I felt I wanted to dedicate 41 repetitions of the main Sura of the Holy Quran in full prostration to... Himself...I believe saying a prayer in such way was never easier, faster and merrier as it was today ^^ I am amazed and can't believe it :)

One of the most popular films on Islam The Message, 1977 - beautiful historical epos about birth and establishment of the religion was launched exactly 6 years prior to my birthday - on march 9 :) I confess, during the first attempt to watch this 3-hour movie couple of years ago I unapologetically fell asleep and could not see the true value of it. Today I couldn't stop my excitement and sometimes tears - our second "date" appeared to be so emotional and infected me with the power of faith :')

After so many years I started doing embroidery again. Since last 2 weeks my attention has been focused on "team building": fabric, needles, threads, crystals and beads, embroidery hoops - everything had to be organized in one fine ornament I designed for my creative project... I cannot believe wonders my sudden needlework does to me as well as its results! It gives me wings.. I come up with ideas of ornamental stitches and stone motifs that are easily combined into the picture that is balanced and delightful to the eye.. Today the whole process became 2 times more meaningful to me: I came to know who is going to be the first owner of my handicraft, which adds enthusiasm and love I put into the work ^^ I also decided to gift all other samples I am about to embroider!

What am I feeling? It can be described in one word: "yay!" :D

• for coming to this world as a much expected child as my parents nurtured their love for me for 3 years before i was born
• for my mom who with her own deeds shows what motherly devotion means, how one should innocently enjoy simple things and should never despond due to life difficulties, that there is always a reason for laughter 
• for my dad who became my first-in-life best friend, with whom i discovered the world as wonder, who always believes in my talents, who has got the most contagious laughter in the world
• for my sister, my Little One, who gave me my first lesson of service and still teaches me lot of things =) for her own family - her hubby and son - who give all of us opportunity to learn another roles and responsibilities
• for the dream of my own family i am coming closer to along with developing my faith in Your love and care
• for the fact that through my family You have always acted as a Protecter from unfavourable company, places, events and false knowledge
• for the trust my parents showed towards all my expressed choices and decisions...well, almost all of them =) it nourished my self-confidence
• for the fact that i originate from two imperfect but big and strong family houses
• for every person through whom You shower Your care upon me
• for those people i know who have beautiful souls, who believe in me being amazing, exceptional person, next to whom i uncover my best qualities
• for those people thanks to whom i see my imperfections and define direction for self-development
• for the teachers who are rich source of inspiration for self-development
• for all cuddles that were like a channel for Your grace and love
• for the fact that nothing and nobody belongs to me but is expression of Your blessing i am to be thankful for
• for the love to myself and healthy self-examination that most of the time balance each other 
• for the fact that i am woman; for the fact that thanks to my female nature i feel connected to the purity, am able to see beauty, hear what is hidden between the words, read between the lines, feel what is implisit but true, absorb energy from everywhere, believe deeply, rejoice innocently and lightheartedly, have ability to cry and purify, feel everything around with Your love
• for the numerous talents You gifted me and help me uncover them and put them into life
• for the opportunity to be myself
• for the silent crushes of my innocent age which protected my heart from the early disappointments and preserved it for the matured feelings
• for the bitterness of loneliness during my university youth which also gave me the sweet after-taste of being with myself
• for the relationships that were and gave me understanding of what is beautiful and what is intolerable
• for the continuous journey that commenced when i was 17 and still goes on with Your blessing and under Your patronage persuading me to believe in the power of a dream
• for each trip that makes me closer to the understanding of myself and my purpose, my way
• for the unbelievable chain of meetings and events which led me to India that became my second home and gave me my second family
• for the introduction to Italy that was full of so much breathtaking beauty
• for all my dates with England and in England =)
• for the discovery of Egypt not just as a tourist but also as a piligrim and even as an insider
• for the opportunity to experience life of different nations, cultures, religions that allowed me observe beautiful things that unite all the people - translation of Your love in multiple ways and the fact that we all have souls with good qualities contained in it
• for the places of power that nurture me with energy of life, inspiration and joy
• for the opportunity to discover my big extended family, commence restoration of family connections
• for realization of the value of soul and the value of life for development of the former thing
• for the blessing with the financial security that lets invaluable time to be invested in service to You, in a female way, peacefully and with love
• for the good health as well as for all sicknesses and recoveries that altogether were acts of Your help and Your mercy
• for all massage sessions that reconciled my soul with my female body and brought me back to life =)
• for the opportunity to study at the Higher School Of Economics, it's degree certificate helped me to migrate to India but it's main merit is the fact that i found my near and dear girlfriends

• for every opportunity to be useful and to take care of somebody

First snow in my hometown :)

I observed the first snow of the season yesterday while driving to Perm early morning. Today the first snow is in my hometown. Although the video does not show the real beauty and peace it is creating in the hood I'd like to share it with you hoping your morning is as good as mine ({})

I am Early Bird. How I begin my day · Я - Ранняя Пташка. Как я начинаю свой день

I love mornings! Since i started my experiment of exploring Ayurvedic approach to the regime of the day morning has turned into time when lot's of good things happen to me. I'd like to share what makes it so joyful.
I wake up by 6 am SST. Although it is approximately 8.30 am this time of the year i do not stay in bed till so late, i am up by 6 am actual time of the place i am in. 
I fold the bed linen. 
I purify my mouth with few gargles and then have 2 cups of water. 
I make the room neat by putting everything in it's place, clean the floor and sprinkle a little bit of water on the bed. Ayurveda advises this as the first step of purification of one's consciousness after sleep. 
I brush my teeth, take care of my nails, visit toilet and after all that perform morning ablution which is both religious purification and Ayurvedic swill using cool water (cold water is not advised to women). I learned that just by performing morning ablution along with early awakenings one can become a 60-70% happier person. My experience proves it's true.
I return to the room and say prayers. This is time for conversation with God when i hear my inner self better and feel the love in and around me... 
No morning happens without special breakfast consisting of:

• milk blended with cardamom, cinnamon and honey
• sweet fruits like bananas, dates, raisins etc.
• home-made cream cheese mixed with sweetened condensed milk
• listening to the fascinating birds' singing.

Yes, my breakfast is very sweet but consumed before 7-8 am SST sugar not only does not affect your health but benefits it by giving good energy and positive mood - something that women must have a sufficient "stock" of =)
All this gives me incredible start and makes me feel like hugging the world!
It is said that happiness must be shared in order bring you a well-being. The simplest way to do it is to selflessly wish happiness to other people. I realized it is not so easy. I am so happy to have recently discovered that i can learn it from the person who knows the art of it every morning by tuning in Ayurveda radio channel on the internet. So at 8 am (6 am Moscow time) i meditate and spread the wish of happiness to all people.

My Strawberry Swing morning! · Моё "клубнично-качелевое" утро

I am Early Bird. Day 1 · Я - Ранняя Пташка. День 1-ый

So the beginning of my 28-day experiment was marked yesterday =) Frankly speaking while getting ready to it i have been trying to wake up and go to sleep as Ayurveda advises for approximately 2 weeks. Not every singly day but it is serious now =)
I have to say it is easier to wake up by 6 am than let's say 9 or even 11 am. Believe i know what i am talking about ;) It is even much easier to wake up at 5 am BUT provided you get not less than 7 hours of sleep (8 hours in my case as i am a learner =) every day.
I loved it and here are few reasons why:

• nothing can be compared to the understanding of the fact that you get awakened along with nature. Especially this time of the year makes it unbelievably beautiful process!
• Birds get truly excited and create happy tunes right till 6 am SST. And believe you won't hear such sweet melodies after 6!
• i love the feeling of personal space you get when the rest of the family is still asleep. I do love their company but to me it is time when i gain most of my female energy and thus feel myself so peaceful and feminine =) Right, it all happens as the Moon is still active at this time!
• i discovered happiness of beginning my day with a prayer and my intimate conversation with God. I finally allocated time to learning my daily prayers - something which used to plan since a long time but never truly fulfilled. Indeed, i agree with doctor Torsunov on his opinion that when you share your love with God you are being blessed back so much more.
• waking up so early gives me some strange inner motivation. I mean even if i feel reluctant to doing something i planned and look for excuses immediately something "kicks" me from within and i automatically go and do what is required.
• i get to eat lots of sweet things: dates, bananas, raisins and a cup of cool milk shaken with honey, cinnamon and cardamom - i have truly sweet start of the day =D  

Some people have to really work on early wake-ups. To me going to sleep is a much bigger challenge. By nature i do not watch much TV so excluding this activity from my evening routine is not a problem but surfing on the net especially when you are in bed is very tempting =) Forcing myself to fall asleep by 10 pm latest. Tips on how to go to sleep early anyone?
